The story behind the bowl

Japanese founder Tatsuya Sasaki arrived in Taiwan at 18, learned Mandarin and built Hidden House from its original Shilin counter into a respected local group. The appeal is not imported branding but a Taiwan-grown ramen story: polished chicken broth, firm noodles and rotating richer specials.

Before you go: Use the original Shilin shop in Maps and expect a wait at peak dinner hours; the Chifeng branch alone has accumulated thousands of Google reviews.
