The story behind the bowl
Opened in Hapjeong in 2017, Oreno helped make tori paitan a Seoul staple. Whole chicken becomes a nutty, milky broth that is blended just before serving for its signature foam, then paired with house-made noodles, tender chicken and kelp. It remains a Michelin Bib Gourmand in the 2026 guide.
Before you go: Navigate to the Hapjeong original rather than whichever branch appears first. The queue can look long, but turnover is efficient and noodle, rice and broth refills may be available.
